Lumerical suite installation and license configuration

Install and configure Lumerical Suite as outlined from the installation guide for your operating system.

License availability

Use the FlexNet license manager dashboard to view and check license availability.

Transferring the license

Although licenses are intended to be used on one selected machine, the case may come up where we need to transfer the FlexNet license manager to a different machine. This is to accommodate certain circumstances, such as hardware or installation troubleshooting, system upgrade, etc. This is not intended for use as a portability option (there are other licensing models better suited for this). Trusted storage licenses can only be deactivated 3 times in a year.

Note:

This procedure can be used to safely protect and reactivate your license if you need to make hardware or operating system changes on the your machine. See: Protecting your license for details.
